Hello Resident,
Here is an update regarding crime in Burbage since our last update on the 13th of October. Over the half term holidays, we have suffered multiple residential burglaries, some vehicle related. Please see below and get in touch if you have any CCTV or information that will help with our enquiries. Darren.stretton@leics.police.uk
We are putting patrols in place, targeting areas, and our time is being spent investigating the below reports. If you would like any additional crime prevention support, please see the attached catalogue and get in touch. Fence spikes, window alarms, padlock alarms and light timers are all great ways of deterring opportunistic criminals.
Properties that have been targeted are mainly for vehicles (high value BMW's etc) or where residents are on holiday and the property looks unoccupied. If you see suspicious activity and suspect there is a crime in progress, PLEASE CALL 999 immediately.
